September 22, 2010 Product launch

Today we did a product launch for a marketing company located north of Toronto. The event itself was in Yorkdale and there was to be food and beverages for 150 guests.

The menu was amazing!

It included:
- assorted domestic & imported cheeses, (Stilton, Brie,Wensledale, etc.), cranberry sauce, assorted pickles & crackers
- assorted triangle sandwiches decorated w/ asparagus spears on assorted herb breads (cheddar and sliced mild onion, cucumber w/ a hint of anchovy paste, egg and watercress, ham & chutney or English mustard, roast beef & horseradish, salmon & cucumber, sliced tomato)

One of of the more fun appetizers was the tomato soup in shooter glasses. Everyone loved it!

For the main course we had barbecued sausage chunks with red peppers on a bed of Romaine lettuce and miniature Scottish meat pies.

For dessert, we served small pastry cups with carved fruit displayed on a large ice sculpture, as well as apple crisp and whipped cream.

We also provided beer and wine, including premium British beer plus Steam Whistle, Heineken & Stella and Sparkling white wine plus non alcoholic orange punch.

We started setting up at 2:30 pm and the guests arrived at 6:00 pm. We started packing up at 9 pm.

The client was quite happy with the event, and even the weather cooperated!
