Boyd Conservation Area is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for Toronto weddings. This location should be highlighted as the foremost wedding facility in the market. Located in Vaughan near Woodbridge.
Bruce's Mills Conservation Area is often used for weddings, as well as golf and baseball. Located minutes from Highway 404 near Stouffville and Richmond Hill.
Glenn Haffy Conservation Area offers magnificent views of the Niagara Escarpment, and great Fall festivals in October, but few amenities.
Heart Lake Conservation Area can accommodate a number of very large groups simultaneously. The beach area offers swimming and fishing, plus hiking, but there are no running water washrooms at this area.
Petticoat Creek Conservation Area is a huge waterfront property with a magnificent view of Lake Ontario. It is well served with parking, running water washrooms, and lighting, and can accommodate huge groups. Located on the East side of Toronto. | | Mississauga wedding venues | The Benares Museum, located on Clarkson Road south of the QEW, is operated by the City of Mississauga. Charming, well provided with services, very pretty for tented weddings.
Lakeview Golf Course is also operated by the City of Mississauga and located on Dixie Road, south of the QEW. This very pretty site is more readily available for weddings during the cold weather months.
The Bradley Museum is similar to Benares in both location and features. Also operated by the City of Mississauga, very pretty | | Oakville wedding venues | Coronation Park on Lakeshore Road West is a large capacity waterfront facility in downtown Oakville. Washrooms are available at this site.
Appleby College is the jewel in the crown of outdoor special event sites in Oakville. Located on Lakeshore Road, just west of Dorval Drive, this waterfront location features mature trees, athletic facilities and 19th century buildings that evoke old world charm. An expensive rental, but worth every penny for the right situation.
Lions Valley Park offers tremendous capacity, but no washrooms or utilities. The location is on Highway No. 5 west of Trafalgar Road, Oakville. |
